Note: We strongly suggest when returning for exchange/refund you use a reputable service and ensure your parcel is insured correctly in case of loss or damage.
The low cost solutions such as Evri (previously MyHermes) & Parcel2Go have a terrible record of returning goods safely, should the items be received back damaged, lost, wet due to parcels being left outside we will not be able to accept them back.
IF you are at all unhappy with your purchase online or by phone simply return your order within 14 calendar days of receipt (when the parcel is delivered to you) in a resale-able condition; unused and unworn in the original boxing ensuring that the labels have not been removed for a FULL REFUND or EXCHANGE for a different size.
If for any reason you are unable to return within 14 days, please email us sales@alternative-footwear.co.uk as soon as possible as late returns may not be accepted.

It is at the customer's cost and responsibility to ensure the safe return of the order to us.
How to return:
When trying on your purchase make sure your feet are clean and a protective sock or stocking is worn and tried on a soft clean surface, soiled, marked footwear will not be accepted back for exchange or refund, keep all the packaging as ensuring the safe undamaged return of your order is your responsibility.
Repackage the footwear with the original protective packing, ensuring the labels are intact and enclose a copy of our order/invoice so we can identify your order with a note saying what you would like to do, i.e. "returned for exchange in size 6" or " returned for refund".
Re-wrap the shoe/boot box and return the package to us to the address above.
Important - Help us protect the environment by not defacing the shoe boxes.
Defaced or spoilt shoe boxes may cause your return to be rejected - Do not write on, tape up or deface the shoe boxes.
Late returns
If agreed prior to returning/exceptional circumstances. Items returned in a resale-able condition but OUTSIDE of the 14 day period may be accepted at the management's discretion and a store credit will be issued on a sliding scale as follows:
15-30 days: 75% value of order
31-60 days: 50% value of order
61-90 days: 25% value of order
Over 90 days order will be refused and made available for collection at customers cost.
Faulty items
If your order arrives with you in a damaged condition please notify us immediately, after 7 days we cannot accept items that are damaged in transit.
Worn faulty items.
If your item becomes faulty within 30 days of receiving your order, please contact us with your order details and the nature of the fault. We cannot accept any worn item after a 30 day period.
Refused/Non collected parcels
Items returned to us by refusing or not collecting a parcel from an attempted delivery by our courier will be refunded with the return cost deducted. For UK mainland the refusal return cost stands at £15, international orders that are refused, not collected or duty not paid will be charged at current list rates. It is the customers responsibility to ensure the safe return of unwanted orders at their cost.
