Frequently asked questions

FAQ’s:

1.        How long will my order take? – Stock items are shipped within 5-10 days; at busy times this can be up to 14 days, however please allow 28 days for delivery.

2.        When do you take payment? Payment is now processed once your order has been received.

3.        Can I send them back? – Yes you can, within 7 days of receiving your order you can send them back for exchange for a different size, colour, or style or just simply for a full refund – less carriage. Important: the boxes are part of your order and should be returned as supplied to you, damaged packaging makes an item un-saleable and will incur an additional carriage charge.

4.        What do I have to pay for when exchanging? All you pay for is additional carriage.

5.        Can you send to a different address or friend or as a gift? Yes, however these types of transactions cannot be paid for by credit or debit card, as we are only able to ship to the cardholders address. Just complete the online order form and select “send cheque”. Print off your order and post it to us along with your payment, cheque postal order or cash. (If sending cash please remember to use a recorded or special delivery service)

6.        Can I order online and collect from store? Yes, complete your order as usual and then contact us telling us what you would like to do.

7.        What materials are your shoes & boots made of? Unless stated, they are man-made.

8.        I don’t like giving credit card details over the Internet can I place my order by phone? Yes

9.        How would my order be shipped? We use parcel force worldwide to ship all our orders, on completion and dispatch you will be given a tracking number to see the delivery status.

10.     I need my order straightaway can you ship ASAP? Yes, many are available from stock and can be shipped ASAP upon request. Either complete the online form or call for further information on availability.

Sizing

Sizing is perhaps the hardest question of all to answer,

Question: What size do I need?

 If you have not bought shoes or boots from us previously then you may not be aware that most people need to increase their shoe size by one in high heels and the broader foot sometimes needs to increase by 2. Don’t worry if you get it wrong the first time, just send them back and complete the online returns form to request and authorise for the additional carriage. If at all possible come along and see us, if only to get your sizing correct for future orders. If all else fails then give our team a call.

Question: Why are there 2 sizes on the shoes/boots?

This can be a little confusing, yes we know – one is a UK size, and the other is a USA size. Our conversion is 2, so a USA ladies 8 is a UK 6.

Question: I am usually a size 5 in a trainer would a size 6 be too big?

 Probably not, if anything our footwear comes slightly small, so most increase by one size, some 2 sizes.

Question: Can I order 2 pairs and send one back?

 Yes you can, if you feel you don’t have time to send them back for exchange for another then order both sizes and send the unwanted pair back for credit.
