Lights! Camera!
Action! Housemates took to the runway this evening for Borehamwood
Fashion Week (that's the Wholander task). And what
a collection it was.
Pete was first to
hit the catwalk, twinning tweed with red wellies,
he looked a peach. Or rather, he did when he pulled a moony.
"I didn't know what else to do," he innocently told Richard later. Nikki
skipped along, valiantly battling the strong breeze blowing through the
gardens. And no, we didn't put a wind machine in. Honest.
Battling with six-inch heeled thigh-high boots, and a box, Lea tottered
gingerly down the runway.
Richard looked at home, working it, baby, in fur coat and white flares. While
in a look that teamed sixties checks with Paris Hilton face furniture and
pinky kinky boots, Aisleyne's strut included a full
throttle butt-wobble.
But it was Mikey who nailed the "Blue
Steel" pose of the Wholander task. Glowing in
sunshine-coloured pvc and
white heels, he burnt up the catwalk to cheers of "go girl!" like a
lanky streak of...fashion gold.
But did they do enough to win their fashionista
party? Don't call us, chaps.

With hemlines to
make Vivienne Westwood wince, Big Brother gave housemates their new
wardrobes. And my, don't they look <i>prrriddy.
Squealing with
delight at their new outfits, the housemates crowded round the rail of
clothes in an authentic catwalk-side muddle of elbows, mascara and high-heels.
"I've got a ladybird outfit!" shrieked an excited Nikki.
"I'm a
ballerina, oh my god!" said Imogen. But
Richard wasn't so impressed. "Mine's boring," he said, fingering
his fedora. "They're making me into a man." And that's sooo not a good look, right?
In his bright yellow pvc boiler suit and white stillettos, Mikey looked simply
fabulous, darling. But he couldn't quite get his head around it. "Why
would women want to wear these things?" he asked.
"We're women, we love to wear them," replied Susie, head-to-toe in
balloons.
Now dressed, Nikki changed her mind about her fruity outfit. "I'm a
BLT," she hazarded. "No, I'm a strawberry!"
"Hmm," groaned Lea, getting into her cardboard get-up. "I'm
just a box with tits."
